
Mary Ducusin

Mary joined Uniting in March 2019 as Chief Customer, Risk & Governance Officer, bringing extensive experience in risk, compliance, and operational leadership within the aged care sector. Previously, she served as Chief Quality and Risk Officer at Estia Health, an ASX-listed aged care provider. Before that, she held key roles at Allity Aged Care and Bupa, where she managed risk, compliance, customer experience, and service acquisitions.
In addition to her core responsibilities, Mary is the Executive Sponsor for Uniting’s Cultural and Diversity Network. In her portfolio, she currently oversees Risk & Assurance, Child Safety, Quality Management, Customer Service Delivery, Sales & Marketing, Nursing and Clinical Governance, as well as Uniting’s War Memorial Hospital.
Mary began her career as a Registered Nurse in the acute and sub-acute health sector before pursuing a law degree. She recently completed the Company Directors Course with the Australian Institute of Company Directors (AICD) and the Advanced Leadership in Clinical Governance program through the Australian Institute of Clinical Governance (AICG).
She is a professional member of AICG, AICD, the Risk Management Institute of Australia, and the Institute of Internal Auditors Australia.
